The world is hurt

The world is hurt and minds apart.
Could there be hope to touch a heart?
Be or not there be, let’s make a start.
Your hand and mine can play a part.

Your hurt and mine are sure to be.
Is there a life that couldn’t be?
If ever there was, how good to be.
For there being not, let’s just be.

Let’s be there for one to one.
Is there a life just for one?
For you to be, didn’t take one.
Two brought you to be the one.

Take your charge and play the card.
Is there a task not quite as hard?
To be without is worse the hard.
To strive to have is worth the hard.

For peace to be, it’s you and me.
Isn’t it true that we, depends on me?
Take your place and say that’s me.
Let your strength stand up for we.

Still as hurt, Let’s play the band.
Is it too much to ask your hand?
And as for mine being yet bound,
your bow can play my sound.

The world is hurt and minds apart.
Could this now have won your heart?
